NEW YEARS 2012

On behalf of our staff in every state, and our dozens of contributors around the world, let me take this opportunity to wish every one of our thousands of viewers the BEST, HAPPIEST, and LUCKIEST NEW YEAR in 20212 !!!!

Please don't drink and drive. And you should eat something. We suggest something like this Sun-Dried-Tomato-Pesto Torta.

Kahului Airport Maui Aerial Flyover View

On December 24th 2008, we went up in N6009V (callsign : Zero-Nine-Victor) so we could take pictures of the private jets at OGG.

Yet another special thanks to the tower for accomodating us that day, amid the numerous landing heavies, helicopters, and what-not...

These are just a sample. We took several hundred pictures ... some of which will meet their demise and ultimately be lost forever in future Airplane Life blog posts.

Oh, and if any of these aircraft happen to belong to you, please let us know. Please be specific. Don't just say, "The white one."

Mc Donnell Douglas MD-12

Yet another Airplane Life exclusive. Amaze your friends. This was an official Mc Donnell Douglas publication from April, 1992. 'Kinda makes you wonder why Airbus ended up making the A380 so incredibly ugly, after MDC had already designed a similarly configured aircraft that looked totally way-cool. Put another way, why would anyone want to ride on a flimsy and dangerous Airbus, when they could take the same flight on a sturdy and bitchen MD-12?
