I was supposed to be in CAM last Saturday but we postponed our trip up. Damn, I would have loves to see her go. I saw the Connie painted as AF1 when she did a flyover of the LA Harbor and Rancho Palos Verdes about 10 years ago?. I flew out to the patio when I heard those 4 engines cranking. My stepdad said next to the 747 which he really loved, TWA's Connies were his plane of choice. When they stopped flying them, it was the end of an era.
