Hornet Daily Trivia
It's fleet nickname is Rhino.
The FCS of the Super Hornet selectively modes a rudder toe-in for takeoff and landing. With high AoA at slower speeds, the wing blocks flow over the stabilators affecting their nose authority. The rudders automatically bias to the inside and create downforce, which pitches the nose up.

Emirates A380 A6-EET Departing LAX on 25L
Our Long Beach Bureau Chief took this awe inspring shot on 7/6/14.
Aircraft was operating as EK 216; nonstop to DXB - 15 hrs, 50 minutes and 8,320 miles (13,400 km).
A first class one-way ticket is only $24,529.90. But who wants to go to Dubai one-way?
