This shot by LBBC shows what was the premier spotting location at LAX back in the day. We spent many hours there.
A warp in the fabric of time allowed us to briefly revisit the site back '07.
Thanks for the reminder. I spent a little time there back in the day, but my best pics came from the other ghost town just north of 24R about 3000 feet east of the departure end. This was around 1974 and I think there were some homes still inhabited there at the time.
