Iguanas like Costa Rican rainforests according to my daughter who saw a bunch of them there.
I kinda-sorta know, but my Google Earth is acting up. I'll get back to you unless someone figures it out in the meantime.
ReplyDeleteI think the Qantas and Korean were taken from the elevated ramp that takes traffic from hwy 1 south onto the overpass that leads traffic onto World Way from W 96th St. I got some good shots of 24R landings from just north of there from ground level about a year ago. I hesitated to shoot from the overpass, afraid I would either get run over or arrested. I'm more conservative after 9/11 and now entering my "Golden Years", so to speak. I would guess the reptile might be located on Maui but have no clue, really...
ReplyDeleteYou all are correct or very close! The Korean was from the 96th bridge, taken by a daredevil we know. The other planes were from my room at the Embassy Suites LAX North. AA you are correct that you can get some good pictures at gound level around the parking lots. Sometimes the sun angle is better than at the burger joint. See newly added pictures.
